SOA senior staff actuary Emily Kessler, FSA, was recently appointed by the dean of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, to a five-year term as a member of the Advisory Board for the Pension Research Council (PRC). The PRC is dedicated to sponsoring interdisciplinary research and generating debate on key policy issues affecting private pension, social security and related benefit plans in the United States and around the world. Kessler joins a distinguished group of executives, academics, consultants and representatives of organized labor in providing vital input to the PRC.
